from chaos comes clarity
it's been awhile...
hey everyone!
it's kage, just checking in because i haven't been able to sleep in quite a bit. *sigh* insomnia sucks.
well, my wedding is coming up soon, my little sister is heading off to college, and i'm still here...faithfully blogging about it all.
recently, some thoughts have been plaguing me.
i was watching VH1's "I Love the New Millenium". I am a huge fan of such shows...the entire series, in fact. I'm notorious for vegging out while watching an "I Love..." marathon...for days, even.
I was noticing how many of the celebrities were famous because of the internet...aka, Tila Tequila and Perez Hilton.
If I knew it were possible to actually become friends with Ms. Tequila...and not just "friended" on myspace, I would totally think that it would be worth it to start a correspondence. But this, however, is not a guarantee. From watching her show, I have felt like she really is more than just "eye candy" and whatever the media makes her out to be...a real girl with real feelings. A certain part of me wants to befriend her...but she's famous and I am not, this doesn't just happen overnight. Maybe I'm just "chasing pavements" here (thanks, Adele!), but it's a distant dream. I actually would want nothing more than a very close friendship...I'm a practically married man here, Tila isn't even my type. *sigh* that's a dream bubble to pop.
As for becoming famous because of the internet...it's all so cool...but it's rather fickle, don't you agree? I've often dreampt that my blog would reach the masses and somehow touch the community...maybe even the world, but alas...i am far too boring for such a monumental task. If I thought that my blog would matter to the world, perhaps I would find a more steady internet bloodline from which to feed and blog more often about the least irrelevant topics in my brain...? I don't know.
And speaking of relevance...I am so addicted to "Adele"...she has the most beautiful soul sound of this millennium IMHO. Her album is spectacular (thanks, iTunes and iNsomnia.) *sigh*
Nothing important, just some thoughts of little to no importance to the blogosphere...or the world, even.
